Operation Puff

I always read articles about what the top chefs always have in their fridge or pantry. Well puff pastry is my go to in the freezer. It’s savory, it can be sweet, its quick and works for every season. What’s not to love about puff pastry? If you have the time and butter ?! (Not in NZ) then you can make a nice short pastry but making puff pastry just isn’t ideal unless you have all the time in the world.

Below I made a quick lunch using 2 sheets of puff pastry. One with mushrooms and a little cream cheese, and a chocolate treat with the other sheet of pastry and chocolate spread. Et voila.
