This Is My Jam - and it has a Berry Good ending.

Why chia jam is the easiest, healthiest spread you’ll ever make.

***********************************************

I cup of frozen berries (I used Raspberries)

2 tablespoons chia seeds

Simmer and mush the berries in a small sauce pan for 4-5 minutes till soft and heated through. Remove from heat and stir in chia seeds.

It will thicken as it cools.

************************************************

I kept mine in a screw top jar in the fridge and I used over the next week for breakfast or brunch.

It would be great on pancakes, waffles, toast, yoghurt.

Thats its!

Some recipes I saw had a drip of maple syrup for sweetness, but I didn’t think it needed it. It was nice to have something fresh tasting without the tons of sugar.

– Why would you ever go back to store-bought jam?
