What the fork is that?

This week I introduce to you the Kohlrabi!

That funky, alien-looking veggie that’s part of the brassica family (like cabbage, broccoli, and kale). It has a crisp texture and a mildly sweet, peppery flavor — kind of like a cross between a radish and a broccoli stem.

“Kohl” (German for cabbage) + “Rabi” (Swiss German for turnip)
