Peach Perfect
I had some stewed ‘Black Boy’ peaches in the freezer I wanted to do something with. Apparently they have been re-named Blood Peach or Red fleshed peach or also Sanguine.
The were imported from France in the early 20th Century.
I decided to make a sorbet and the colour was amazing and the taste was fantastic. Sorbet is a bit of a hit and miss for me - either too runny or too frozen but this worked out well this time.
